Past themes have included Photocopy Books, Folds, Altered Books, Metal, Zines, Miniature Books, Pop-Ups and Sculptural Books, Ancient Books, Decks of Cards, Collage, Editions, and Fabric Books. Future themes are Photography, Living History Artists' Books, and Paper. Taylor. Every issue also contains how-to articles, inspirational conceptual articles, idea generators, and lots and lots of artists books. Another regular feature is our Honest Reviews column, which gives refreshing honest reviews of products, books and supplies that every book artist should have in their toolbox. The impartial reputation of the Honest Reviews column makes it a valued resource for our readers, and gives store owners and advertisers an excellent chance to not only promote their own products, but to also tie in products with each issue of dog eared magazine.
