Why Email Marketing Services Don’t Work

Email marketing services have been dealt a huge blow. Many people are now turning away from email marketing in search of an affordable yet effective way to market their products and services and to grow their business; text marketing. There are a lot of email marketing services that are available but they all have the same thing in common. They all sell you a certain amount of contacts for a monthly fee which supposedly covers the costs of creating the emails, managing the contacts and doing up reports on their progress among other things. Here are the downfalls;

Many email marketing services do not use ethical means of acquiring these contacts. They use email harvesting methods and share lists with other companies as well. Their basic fees will range from $9.95 to $15.00 per month and will give you around 500 or 600 of their so called contacts. The problem is that a large percentage of the contacts that are emailed never read the message in the first place.

They offer you with all kinds of email templates, none of which make the likelihood of someone opening the email any better. They provide you with reports of how many emails they sent and how many of these were bounced. But they don’t tell you how many of these emails were actually read. Why? Because they don’t know.

With text message marketing none of the above are true. Your customers are eagerly waiting to open your text and have the option to respond directly to you. You get all of this in real time. You too can take advantage of this new method and put email marketing services out of business. Text marketing will help you grow your customers and in turn increase your income.

The bottom line of my story is, don’t advertise to the advertiser. You just waste your time and money. That’s the main reason why people getting frustrated with their internet business and simply quit. This is like car dealers advertise solely to other car dealers. What do you think will happen?

I know what you are thinking. What happened to him? Didn’t he tell us in his article “Where’s the Traffic?” Email Harvester are the cure to non-visited websites? Yes, that’s true. I still believe that autoresponders are good business practice to communicate with your customers. I just didn’t see the value of buying email leads. Yes, I changed my opinion, which is plain human nature and happens to all of us. I hope this made you think a little bit and if you can turn your business into the profitable margins based on my little advice please let me know. I’m eager to hear if somebody actually is listening to what I have to say.
